Before the last two events of the year

Ian finished his run of 3 events with a disappointing recurring injury to his hand during the WGC HSBC Champions. He flew home after the 2nd round to see the doctor and to have it fixed so that he can play in his last 2 events of the year. Ian is heading to South Africa for the Nedbank Challenge this weekend and finishing in Dubai with the DP World Championship.

The DPWTC platform

Brendan Lawlor showed amazing inspiration showcasing DPWTC as a great platform for EDGA golfers.

Starting a run of 4 events

Ian’s Autumn schedule of four events starts with the Italian Open this week at Olgiata where he has great memories from 2002. Then he flies to Asia for the CJ Cup in Korea, ZoZo in Japan and the WGC in Shanghai China.

It’s been a frustrating month professionally to say the least but a very rewarding personal one. Started a 4-week run with the Italian Open, returning to the course where I won back in 2002. The week began with a bit of fun after picking up our rental car – a Ford ecosport Fiesta. Wanting to open the boot, guess what – we could not work out! At one point we had 9 people around the car searching for a button. I was posting it live on Instagram and many of you kept saying: Google it! But hey, we think we are smarter, right? Wrong – finally we gave in and found it on Google. Maybe that was an omen for the week… On the Wednesday I did a photo shoot of the clubs I used to win back in 2002. Take a look at these beauties from Titleist back then!
